What does Project Humanity e.V. do?
Project Humanity e.V. is a non-profit, volunteer-run association. We bring food, clothing, school supplies and healthcare to the poorest people in the slums of Africa — regardless of religion or origin.
Where exactly do you help?
Our current focus is Sudan — today the largest humanitarian crisis in the world — as well as other regions in Africa. Learn more under What we do.
How can I donate?
The easiest way is online via our donation page using PayPal — the total updates instantly. You can also give by bank transfer: Commerzbank, IBAN DE91 5064 0015 0237 1045 00, BIC COBADEFFXXX, recipient: Project Humanity e.V.
Can I donate to a specific project?
Yes. On the donation page you can choose a specific campaign; the running total is shown live.
How much of my donation actually arrives?
We work entirely on a voluntary, project-based basis so that as close to 100% of your donation as possible goes directly into the aid projects.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
As a non-profit association, donations to us are generally tax-deductible. The automatic confirmation email after your donation is not yet a tax receipt (Zuwendungsbestätigung) — for one, please write to us at info@project-humanity.org.
Is Project Humanity a registered non-profit?
Yes. Project Humanity e.V. is a registered non-profit association (register of associations VR 32120). Full details are in our imprint.
How do I find out what happens with the donations?
We report on current projects and progress under News.
Can I become a member or volunteer?
